The FBS “SeaBlade”

With a 3,000 lbs. variable equipment capacity, multiple DRY cabin and surface hull configurations, combined with rugged chassis mounting points throughout, this FBS variant can be outfitted to satisfy any number of critical mission needs.

Perhaps most notably, it can incorporate a forward cabin (for a pilot and copilot) plus rearward lock-in / lock-out cabin for swimmer delivery.

As with all FBS variants, it can be deployed from over the horizon, submerge, and covertly ingress an area into waters as shallow as 15 feet and loiter until the time is right to deploy your team and assets.

Ideal For:

  • SEAL Delivery

  • Riverine / Estuarine Security

  • Coastal / Port Security and Defense

  • Dry Personnel (Beach) Insertion

  • Beach Egress Fire Support

  • Anti-Mine

  • Anti-Submarine

  • Noncombatant Evacuation Operations (NEO)

  • Covert Resupply

  • Oilfield & Critical Asset Security

  • Narcotics Interdiction

  • Piracy Interdiction

Notable Advantages

  • Dry Cabin(s) / Mission Persistence and Flexibility: The FBS dry cabin(s) keeps divers and crew dry and warm. This is a significant advantage over current “go-fast” wet sub designs and it allows for a new hierarchy of sustainable missions that can be performed. It also allows for on-mission timeline flexibility which produces higher positive outcome probabilities.

  • Tactical Advantages: The FBS does not require larger assets such as diesel or nuclear submarines for its deployment and is therefore not limited by the number or availability of such assets to be used. Multiple FBS units, with varied payloads, can be deployed as required to increase tactical mission capabilities, making it ideal for governments whose area of interest and influence is nearby.
