Manned and USV/UUV surface/subsea platforms
Introducing the Fast Boat Submarine (FBS)
As its name implies, the FBS is both a long-range surface vessel and a true dry-cabin submarine. As a surface vessel it provides the convenience and mobility of a traditional speedboat, using twin turbocharged diesel engines and a 500 gallon (standard) fuel load to quickly get where it needs to be . But unlike any other surface vessel, it can switch to battery power and dive (instantly, at any time) with the throw of only a few switches.
The result is a platform that provides unique and previously unavailable mobility plus multiple other subsea missions to our warfighters and commercial end users. We hope that you will explore our site to learn more about its impressive capability and use cases.

Safety and design.
The FBS is designed to be an incredibly durable, rugged and safe platform. All systems and designs will be certified to International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) for construction of manned submersibles. This means that every detail of its design and manufacture will be certified according to very stringent requirements. Meeting this standard alone, dictates that each FBS built is incredibly safe and possesses standard safety features (see below). The safety features of an FBS, however, go well beyond this standard, given its passive safety characteristics and other advantages gained through its use of over 30,000 lbs. of lift, referred to as hyper-ballasting.
Unique features.
The FBS has a totally unique combination of features that can expand your subsea capabilities to meet your needs, using unmatched versatility and innovation.
Speedboat Mobility: Launch at a moments notice and get to where you need to be at a moments notice! Then dive with the simple throw of a few switches—quick, easy, and seamless.
Heavy-Lift Central Chassis Design: The FBS can be customized for countless applications, offering custom cabin configurations and payload options to suit your needs.
On-Board Recharge Capabilities: Dive repeatedly without interrupting your day. The FBS’ on-board recharge system keeps you operational for as long as its 500-gallon fuel supply lasts.
Dry, Climate-Controlled Cabin: The FBS IS IS NOT A “WET SUB” whose mission times are extremely limited. The dry pressure-resistant FBS cabin ensures occupants or cargo remain unaffected during a dive which provides prolonged mission persistence and vastly expands mission capabilities.
Compact Size: The base 45-foot variant is easy to transport, dock, launch, and handle, just like any similar-sized vessel. Its small size enables operations in extremely shallow waters, fully submerged, right up to the water's edge—a feature highly valuable for conducting ISR and other missions.
A highly mobile and versatile subsea presence for governments. Now.
Governments no longer need to spend hundreds of millions to gain subsea capabilities. Thanks to the innovative FBS design, they can now affordably acquire and deploy our highly mobile, mission-versatile subsea platforms—ready to address a wide range of ISR and other maritime security needs.
